Photographer - Writer - Creative Director

Where an authored life is interpreted into form.

As a matter of conviction:

Taste is not mere decoration—but telling evidence of the eye that formed it.

A preference repeated often enough begins to look like a signature. So does a refusal. A certain rhythm. The reference no one else would have chosen. The detail that keeps turning up, apparently without invitation.

Look closely enough, and you’ll find fingerprints.

The Practice

Go on,
I’m listening.

Go on, I’m listening.

Whether developing a photographic concept or researching a magazine feature, language is often my point of entry. Through in-depth interviews, I listen for the shift in someone's voice when a question touches a conviction, or for the anecdote told in passing that adds texture to the larger story.

Becoming a student of my subject, I trace the throughlines between their lived experience, work, and sensibility—weighing what deserves emphasis as inquiry and instinct shape my creative choices.

The resulting interpretation may find expression in the written word, a series of photographs, or the concept and direction of a visual project.

The Image Atelier

An interpretive,
image-making practice.

An interpretive, image-making practice.

Through journalistic inquiry and discernment, the work follows the throughlines of a woman’s experience, convictions, and sensibility, translating what they reveal into visual language.

Shall we?

There is, of course, more to discuss.

Whether it's a photographic commission, a story that needs telling, or an idea you'd like me to put my mind to, I'd be delighted to hear about it.
